Not only does Ian have years of hands-on experience behind the camera and oh, so many sleepless nights in editing bays, he literally wrote the book on the psychology behind marketing and advertising (see MIGRATION) , so he’s well equipped to handle all manner of video shoots - under any condition - from adrenaline-pumping, lightning-fast ads requiring dazzling, custom-made effects - to quieter, more intellectual projects where a focused, documentary-style approach is appropriate. For Ian, there’s a science behind inspiring curiosity and holding the viewers’ attention.
Ian’s first experience with translating his existing fine art and illustration skills into the digital realm began long ago in a tiny, public television studio in Muncie, IN that produced a little show called “The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross”. To this day, Ian attributes the late Mr. Ross for inspiring his own realization that an artist’s creation is far more than a mere by-product of one’s training and experience: The art we manifest is a reflection, or “snap-shot”, of Who We Are at the time of creation.
